Hans Wehr (Arabic Almanac)

The Hans Wehr app is a digital version of the famous Arabic-English Hans Wehr dictionary. You can search through the dictionary by using the root letter of the word and the app will display the corresponding page from the Hans Wehr dictionary.

This app was developed to aid students of the Arabic language in their noble pursuit. This app will remove the need of carrying around a bulky dictionary and replace it with the convenience of your smartphone. Now you have access to all the same information but at the comfort of your fingertips.

The dictionary can be searched using an Arabic keyboard, or if you do not have an Arabic keyboard the dictionary can be searched using roman (English) letters which have an Arabic equivalent. To search just simply enter the root letters of the word and click search. You can navigate through the pages of the dictionary by swiping left and right. (See the About section in the app for more details).

To enable offline mode please open the Settings page and download the necessary files. The app provides quick access features to check the verb forms and the Roman to Arabic letter conversion. If you are experiencing difficulties with the app crashing when trying to enable offline mode, then please uninstall the app and download the latest update which fixes this issue.

At the moment only the Hans Wehr (Arabic-English) dictionary is supported, but we are working on releasing other dictionaries as well.

La aplicación Hans Wehr es una versión digital del famoso diccionario Árabe-Inglés Hans Wehr. Se puede buscar en el diccionario mediante el uso de la letra de la raíz de la palabra y la aplicación mostrará la página correspondiente del diccionario Hans Wehr.

Esta aplicación fue desarrollada para ayudar a los estudiantes de la lengua árabe en su noble empresa. Esta aplicación se eliminará la necesidad de llevar alrededor de un diccionario voluminosas y sustituirla por la comodidad de su smartphone. Ahora usted tiene acceso a la misma información, pero en la comodidad de su alcance.

El diccionario se puede buscar usando un teclado árabe, o si usted no tiene un teclado árabe el diccionario se puede buscar usando letras romanas (Inglés) que tienen un equivalente árabe. Para buscar simplemente introduce las letras raíz de la palabra y haga clic en búsqueda. Puede navegar a través de las páginas del diccionario, pasa de izquierda y derecha. Para activar el modo fuera de línea por favor, abra la página de configuración y descargar los archivos necesarios. La aplicación proporciona características de acceso rápido para comprobar las formas verbales y el romano a la conversión letra árabe. Si usted está experimentando dificultades con la aplicación de estrellarse al intentar activar el modo fuera de línea, a continuación, desinstale la aplicación y descargar la última actualización que soluciona este problema.

Por el momento sólo se admite el diccionario Hans Wehr (Árabe-Inglés), pero estamos trabajando en otros diccionarios liberando así.
